Terms & Conditions

The terms governing use of our website and donations.

Effective date: 11 September 2026 · Last updated: 11 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website of HariKshama Foundation ("we", "us", "our") and any donation you make through it. By using our website or making a donation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

01 About us

HariKshama Foundation is a charitable organisation registered in India as a Section 8 company, with its registered office in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. We hold 12A and 80G registration under the Income Tax Act; our registration certificates are published on our Contact page.

02 Use of the website

  • You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or disrupt its operation.
  • All content on this site, including text, logos, images, and design, is owned by or licensed to us and may not be reproduced without permission.
  • We may update, suspend, or withdraw any part of the website at any time without notice.

03 Donations

  • All donations made through our website are voluntary.
  • Donations are used to further our charitable objectives. While we make every effort to honour any specified preference, we reserve the right to allocate funds where they are most needed.
  • Donations are made by UPI and are completed within your own UPI app, subject to your UPI app’s and bank’s terms.
  • You confirm that any payment method you use belongs to you and that you are authorised to use it.
  • An 80G tax-exemption receipt is optional. If you choose to request one, you must provide a valid PAN. If you do not provide a PAN, your donation is still accepted as a general contribution, but no 80G receipt can be issued for it.

04 Tax receipts (80G)

Donations to our organisation may be eligible for tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. Where you request it and provide the required details, we will issue an 80G receipt. Eligibility and the extent of any deduction are determined by law and your individual tax circumstances.

05 Foreign contributions (FCRA)

Until and unless we are registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 2010 (FCRA), we are legally unable to accept donations that constitute a "foreign contribution" under that Act. Before donating, you are required to confirm the declaration below. You must not execute a donation if this declaration is not factually true for your transaction:

"I confirm that I am an Indian National or Resident Indian, I am donating domestic funds from an Indian bank account, and I am not an OCI (Overseas Citizen of India) cardholder."

International card processing and foreign currencies are deactivated across our payment system.

06 Limitation of liability

Our website is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from any interruption, error, or delay. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under law.

08 Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.

09 Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
